Instructions

Step 1

Cream shortening, add sugars gradually, continuing creaming.

Step 2

Add vanilla and unbeaten eggs, beat thoroughly.

Step 3

Add soda sifted with flour. Stir in rolled oats.

Step 4

Add peanuts. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.

Step 5

Bake until light brown in hot oven (400 degrees) for 10-15 minutes.
