Instructions

Step 1

Add dal, garlic, shallots, ginger, turmeric powder and 1/2 liter of water into a pot.

Step 2

Simmer till dal is half cooked.

Step 3

Add tomato, curry powder and season with salt.

Step 4

Continue to simmer to soften dal.

Step 5

Pour coconut milk, stir and remove from heat.
