Instructions

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugar.

Step 2

Add eggs.

Step 3

Mix well.

Step 4

Add molasses and vanilla. In a large bowl combine flour, cinnamon, ginger, baking soda and baking powder.

Step 5

Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture slowly. Divide batter. Make into rolls, wrap in waxed paper and chill.Slice and bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes or make small balls of dough flatten with sugared glass and bake. May be dropped off teaspoon and baked also.
